Weekend is finally here! Our tips (25-27.08)

It is the end of summer so we mainly recommend you outdoor events – walks, concerts, parades.

FRIDAY, 25th August
8 PM – Defilad Square – THE SEJNY THEATRE KLEZMER ORCHESTRA
Concert on the occasion of the opening of the Festival of Jewish Culture in Warsaw – “Singer’s Warsaw”. Klezmer music at Defilad Square? It will be a magical evening. Admission free.

All weekend – END OF SUMMER IN JAZDÓW
Do you miss walks in magical Jazdów? This weekend you can catch up because all foundations and cultural institutions located there prepared a special program for the end of summer. Admission free.
We particularly recommend:
6 PM – opening of „Atlas Altan” in Otwarta Pracownia in the estate of Finnish houses (Jazdów Str. 3/6). More…
9 PM – night walk through the University of Warsaw Botanical Garden (Ujazdowskie Av. 4)

10 PM –  Bar Studio – MICHAEL JACKSON’S BIRTHDAY
Here you know what to expect: dances till day-break to the music of the King of Pop.

SUNDAY, 27th August
12:30 PM – Open Ząbkowska Festival – PARADE OF SPOTTED DOGS AND MUTTS
This is an occasion to visit Praga and see how this urban holiday festival works. Ząbkowska Street is closed to road traffic on weekends and transforms into a boulevard. We love mutts and thus we will definitely be there with our four-legged friends.

8:30 PM – END OF SUMMER IN JAZDÓW
Concert of Paweł Szamburski and Jerzy Rogiewicz in the Theatre Institute (Jazdów Str. 1), admission free.
