You just need to take a bus line 512, buy a ticket for zone 1 and 2 and in 40 minutes’ time you will find yourself in the idyllic woods.
This is one of our favorite micro excursions. It can take only half a day however, it is enough to make you feel totally chilled out. The Cultural Park is a relic of the communistic times but the one we would like to keep. It was founded in the 1940s and reminds a holiday resort or sanatorium. There are still holiday houses which you can rent. There is a swimming pool, shell, cafe, football pitches, places with grill, rental of sports equipment (summer and winter), outdoor tables for chess and cult trash bins in a shape of toadstools. You can sunbathe on the grass, ride a bike in a forest, play football, volleyball or badminton.
We recommend also walks in the nearby Botanical Garden (up to 10 minutes through the forest, entrance by a shell). The garden is impressive, there are orangeries with tropical plants, birds, Guinea pigs which you can pet. In the Botanical garden, there is a nice cafe. An adult ticket costs 12 PLN. You can come back by a bus line 139 which will get you to Wilanowska Underground.
