New faces in old Praga

You absolutely have to cross the Vistula River and check out the other side, Praga. For the old Warsaw atmosphere that still permeates here because the wartime destruction didn’t really reach here. For the characteristic rusty older inhabitants and for the young ones who are dramatically changing the image of this hitherto forgotten by the city district. Get off the metro at Dworzec Wileński and check out the transformation. Simply wander the streets, check out the little chapels in the courtyards, the crafts’ workshops, factories and local bars. Here are a few of our suggestions:

– Hydrozagadka and Chmury clubs, 11 Listopada St. 22,
– ZOO Market, Solidarności Ave. 55, a seasonal flea market
– Hałas Vinyl + Coffee, Jagiellońska St. 30,
– Museum of Praga, Targowa St. 50/52
– Ząbkowska St.
– Praga Koneser Center (formerly a vodka factory), Ząbkowska St. 27/31,
– Café Melon, Inżynierska St. 1
– Beach by the zoo
– Gosia Baczyńska’s boutique, Floriańska St. 6,
– Look Inside, Wileńska St. 21,
– the 1960s, 11 Listopada St.,
– Sebas Velasco mural, Strzelecka St. 26
– Fight Club mural by Conor Harrington, Środkowa St. 17
