Enthusiasts of Korean cosmetics don’t have to make pilgrimages to Cracow (or Korea) anymore. JEJU has just opened its new shop in Warsaw.
A place is capacious and the interior well decorated. Pink, red and velvet – the characteristic features of JEJU. If you already know its scrumptious headquarters in Cracow, which could remind you of a box of chocolates, then you know what we are talking about.
The shop is spacious. And that’s important. The place can accommodate not only various Korean facemasks but also natural cosmetics from Poland. There is a vast range of products on the shelves: cremes, oils, bath salts, face mists, shampoos. You can indeed pamper yourself here. There are three times more local brands available in the store than any other labels. There is Phenome, Alba 1913, Hagi, Purite, Yope, Mokosh, Naturativ, Simple As That and they have nothing to be ashamed of. And a neon which hangs on the wall screams: “I want it all.”
The founders of JEJU are Roksana Patrzałek and Mania Bień. They met in an architectural design studio (the interior of the shop is of their design), made friends and set off for a trip to Asia. It was 2016, and it is hard to believe that it wasn’t so long ago. The name JEJU originates from the name of one of the islands in South Korea famous for its minerals used for producing cosmetics.
JEJU’s fans are not only girls. The sign on their shop’s door in Cracow says: “boys and dog-friendly place”.
