Tough choice. Surely, there are Michelin-starred restaurants like Amaro Atelier* or Senses. However, this is a list of places which we heartily recommend. We took under consideration the artistry of chefs, interior design and reasonable prices.
Mokotowska St 48, www.alewino.pl
Seasonal food, with a modern twist served by Sebastian Wełpa. Lovely backyard in Mokotowska Street. Hosts: Katarzyna Błońska and Tomasz Czudowski.
Nowogrodzka St 10, www.bibenda.pl
Good quality ingredients, unusual combinations, reasonable prices – absolute hit. You can also have a drink at a bar. Non-pretentious atmosphere and fine quality products. Chef: Agata Zięba, host: Beniamin Bielecki.
3. BEZ GWIAZDEK
Wiślana St 8, www.bezgwiazdek.com.pl
Robert Trzópek is a master in his profession. He creates an exceptional atmosphere because apart from weekends he only serves here suppers. Every month he offers variations on dishes from different regions of Poland.
4. OPASŁY TOM
Wierzbowa St 9, www.kregliccy.pl
A jewel in the crown of Agnieszka and Marcin Kręglicki’s empire. Apart from excellent cuisine by Flavia Borawska and guest appearances of various chefs, Opasły Tom can pride itself on probably the most impressive interior in Warsaw.
5. ROZBRAT 20
Rozbrat St 20, www.rozbrat20.com.pl
This, in turn, is our top restaurant from all of the restaurants run by Daniel Pawełek. The place has recently undergone renovation. Chef: Bartosz Szymczak.
6. VEGAN RAMEN SHOP
Finlandzka St 12a, Kazimierzowska St 43
This is a type of place where you would like to take your foreign friends. Exquisite vegan ramen, unusual interior design and most of all, the hosts.
Rozbrat St 44a, www.dyletanci.pl
Unusual, seasonal combinations, excellent wine choice. Situated in the close vicinity of the Vistula river with Rafał Hreczaniuk as a chef.
8. KUCHNIA KONFLIKTU
Wilcza St 60
We like the idea of vegan dishes prepared by refugees living in Warsaw. But most importantly, everything is delicious here. It is all about sharing.
9. MĄKA I WODA
Chmielna St 13
Excellent location in the very centre of the city, a genuine stove for baking pizza and exceptional ravioli! If you crave for Italian cuisine this place is for you.
10. LOKALNA BISTRONOMIA
Nieporęcka St 6
If you want to taste fine Polish cuisine with a modern twist visit Praga. Krzysztof Chełchowski is in charge here and will feed you well.
