If you only have one night in Warsaw, we recommend that you kick it off at Warszawa Powiśle – they have good beer and food plus really exceptional architecture. You can get great pierogi, good breakfasts or chill on a deck chair because the Warszawa Powiśle outdoor space is markedly bigger than its interior.
That is to be expected as the structure was originally constructed as a ticket booth for the neighboring train station. In order to fully appreciate Arseniusz Romanowicz and Piotr Szymaniak’s architectural vision from 1962, you shoud arrive from above, through the train station platform.
