This is the most popular culinary destination of the Varsovians. We just love all kinds of aromatic soups and we are continuously discovering a variety of dishes which the Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine, rich and affordable, has to offer. And if we get hooked on we might even easily make the same at home.
1. VIET STREET FOOD
Królowej Aldony St 5
They presented themselves to the wider public at the Night Market. And they have opened their own restaurant in Saska Kępa. You can’t fail. Everything is delicious.
2. UKI UKI
Krucza St 23/31, www.ukiuki.pl
They have definitely been the ones who started popularizing udon in Warsaw. Warming broths and crispy additions in tempura are real comfort food.
3. OH MY PHO
Wilcza St 32, www.ohmypho.pl
It is main and the most affordable Vietnamese option. And a Vietnamese mum cooks here. We recommend taking pho and spring rolls. They are delicious.
4. VEGAN RAMEN SHOP
Finlandzka St 12a
Exquisite ramen. Period. (See photo above).
Poznańska St 7 (entrance from Wilcza St)
A real Vietnamese sensation. Prices are not very low, however, the pho portions are huge.
6. SATO GOTUJE
Pawińskiego St 24
You cannot find yourself here by mistake. A small pavilion in far Ochota with an open kitchen and a Japanese chef who cooks tasty and in an interesting way. Relax and take your time.
7. THE COOL CAT
Solec St 38
An Asian culinary journey in a colourful version. A chef here will never get bored with his work as well as a client will never get bored with his food.
8. MIZU SUSHI
Duchnicka St 3, www.mizusushi.pl
There are many Asian restaurants in Warsaw but we totally recommend this place. And if you have enough zeal, learn when the omakase or kaiseki session is organized. Something more expensive for the enthusiasts of Japanese cuisine.
9. PEKO PEKO
Emilii Plater St 13
It is a place for some home meat enthusiasts (tonkatsu – pork chop). Japanese cuisine from the different perspective. Simple, tasty and affordable.
10. YOUMIKO VEGAN SUSHI
Hoża St 62, www.youmiko.vg
This is a vegan version of sushi not so popular among Japanese. But judging from the opinion of the customers it is something they would like to incorporate into Japan. Delicious, colourful, texture and creative.
